WHERE DOES LIFE COME FROM?

Where does life come from? Where did matter come from?
How is it that our world, which until now is the only one we know, meets all the requirements for life? And how can it affect each of us?

I begin by telling you that for there to be life there must be a great balance between the agents that make it up. The sun has to be at the right distance; If it were closer it would burn us, if it were further away we would freeze. Also important is the system by which clouds absorb water from rivers, lakes, etc., and return it in the form of rain. Think about the sowing and harvesting that so wonderfully provides us with the necessary food, the animals that have contributed and continue to contribute so much to our lives.

And what can we say about our body, a complex and almost perfect “machine”... the list is surely much longer; and shows us a design; and therefore a designer. What Stephen Hawking titles in one of his latest books, The Fine-Tuned Design of the Universe. And he stays there, like a good atheist he recognizes the design, but not the designer!

It is something so extraordinary that there are no numbers to express due to the law of probabilities that life was made by chance. It's something like filling a soccer field with 1 euro coins, and throwing a penny coin between them, and finding it the first time. “Impossible task”.

Therefore it is not foolish to say that it takes more faith to believe that chance can create something so beautiful and organized than to believe that a much superior being designed everything created in detail.

Let me give you an example: we know it as artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer program or machine to think and learn. An ideal (perfect) intelligent machine is a flexible agent that perceives its environment and takes steps to maximize its chances of success in a goal or objective.

TYPES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

● Systems that think like humans: automate activities such as decision making, problem solving and learning. An example is artificial neural networks.

● Systems that act like humans: these are computers that perform tasks in a similar way to how people do. This is the case of robots.

● Systems that think rationally: they try to emulate the rational logical thinking of humans, that is, they investigate how to ensure that machines can perceive, reason and act accordingly. Expert systems fall into this group.

● Systems that act rationally: ideally, they are those that try to rationally imitate human behavior, such as intelligent agents.

We are now surrounded by all sides of Artificial Intelligence that seem to have life. But the question is, did they appear by chance? NO! Behind its existence was someone with the ability to create it. “A designer”. Don't you think that in this perfect universe there has to be a Great Designer?

A few years ago we did not have the opportunity to see photos of the universe with such precision but today anyone can search for photos from the Hubble telescope with their computer and admire the different shapes of the universe. That teaches me that there is a great Designer behind everything, even my own life, I am not a coincidence.

We are capable of creating very perfect machines, almost as perfect as a human being and we boast about our creation and claim this as something special for humanity. Why not say that there is a creator God and that we can see his creative hand in the universe? Or will it be too much to admit this?

The Bible says,
For the invisible of God can be known if we reflect on what he has done. Indeed, since the world was created, it has clearly been seen that he is God and that his power will never end. (Romans 1:20)
 
An ancient man was asked this:
Have you ever in your life given orders for the dawn to come and the day to dawn?               And that the light spreads throughout the earth?
What paths does light follow when it is distributed?
How does the east wind spread over the world?
Who opens a way out of the downpour and points the way to the storm, so that it rains in the desert, in places where no one lives, so that it waters the desolate land and makes grass sprout?
Who is the father of rain and dew?
Who is the mother of ice and frost?
Who makes water hard as stone
and freezes the surface of the ocean?
(The Bible: Job 38:12; 24-30)

These are questions that for many people may have little value, but for others they are questions that indicate that there is an intelligent designer who shapes everything.
